I was derailed...

So, it's been a few weeks since I last posted. I was derailed from what I was doing. There were some personal things happening for a few days and now work has been just nuts! It's still nuts. I've got to be at work tomorrow from 9 am to 2 pm. And, I'm looking forward to it and not looking forward to it all at the same time.

I've spent some time tonight analyzing interviews. I've finished three. I should've gotten more done, but I just haven't. I'm behind on my goals that I had set for my timeline. But, here are some other things that I've gotten done in the past week or two.

1. Sent in my application to graduate along with my $25 fee.

2. Sent a paper in to my advisor, which I've gotten back with some comments. (I need to go in and make revisions to get my credit for it.)

3. Talked for a long time with my friend, Tiffany, about the statistics portion and she is so wonderful that she agreed to help me.

4. Gotten information from the University about the timeline I need to follow for them to be able to graduate this semester.

5. Received the guidebook from the University for submitting a dissertation.

Last night, I was so tired that the only thing I really accomplished was a nap and television viewing. Here are the things that I accomplished today:

Non-Academic:

1. Did 5 loads of laundry

2. Took Maranda to her guitar lesson

3. Mailed a package to friends

4. Went to grocery store (only 1, normally I go to 2)

Academic

1. Analyzed 3 interviews.

My goals for tomorrow:

Work-related

1. Accompany consultants that arrived on campus tonight through the morning and part of the afternoon with meetings, etc.

2. Buy a gift card for a student.

Non-Academic

1. Clean out the car since I have to transport the consultants mentioned above.

2. Clean out different bag to carry

3. Read the newspaper

4. Finish one last load of laundry

Academic

1. Edit paper related to comments from advisor and send back

2. Analyze 4 interviews

3. Type comments into Word docs of the interviews (7)

4. Send the ones that need to go to my co-rater to her (7)

5. Go back through my timeline and clarify deadlines

I *think* that should do it for tomorrow. Hopefully, I'm not too tired during the week to get some other interviews done. Although, I have to be at work every night this week until about 8:30 or 9 pm. I'll try to pack an interview or two with me each night just in case I get the opportunity to read while I'm at the programs that are happening.

Updating here helps me see progress and calms me down a bit so I don't freak out. I'll try to get on here and update more. What an exciting Saturday night I have had!
